I hate cold, hate it, hate it, HATE IT! It was 30 degrees when poor husband went to work this morning, and I am still cold in the house. It is supposed to get to 53 degrees for a high, but down to 25 in the morning, and 22 the next morning. This is serious cold, for us. Must be that global warming that is bring us all this damned cold quap! Sorry, I, too, get cranky! My dog is in my bed, as is the cat. They are not allowed in the bed. They don't even care that I am going to holler at them.....it is warm there.janiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16978979417557447666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6145522887740611698.post-76415420342905279432010-01-04T16:13:18.223-06:002010-01-04T16:13:18.223-06:00The flowers are very fragrant! We brought them in early in October.

I just started using our old nitrate filled aquarium water to water them as well.

I'll be growing squash for the first time this year, you've made me nervous!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6145522887740611698.post-50035643998917042152010-01-04T14:38:45.120-06:002010-01-04T14:38:45.120-06:00brrrr, i can only imagine! i am baking squash in m...brrrr, i can only imagine! i am baking squash in my solar oven this very minute! sorry, didn't mean to rub it in. if i could share this tropical sun, i would! maybe try hot toddies?Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10799673645576731294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6145522887740611698.post-48126301421559081272010-01-04T13:54:30.123-06:002010-01-04T13:54:30.123-06:00hey bcooper5! Aren't citrus trees just awesome? I am intoxicated by the scent of their flowers! Where do you keep yours to get them flowering so nicely?
Oh caterpillars, how did you get in there? :) I would have released it outside, into the cold and wild where it could fend for itself to avoid the guilt of squashing! (I do chuck hornworms in tubs of water over the summer though!)

Stay warm too and have a great new year!persephonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15302087634486847840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6145522887740611698.post-32748079946505959192010-01-04T13:44:09.110-06:002010-01-04T13:44:09.110-06:00It was soo cold this morning! We have 3 trees in one pot, orange, lemon, and tangerine. One of the trees has blooms on all three tips of the branches ~8 flowers. The others don't look like they will be doing anything this year. Yesterday we found a caterpillar eating one of the leaves! I don't know where it came from but it got squashed.

Stay warm, and have a good year!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
