So, if anyone is aware of any of these plants just hanging around or being sold in the area or are in need of thinning, I'm here, waiting with bated breath and trowel to help out with some thinning or at least will know where I could eventually purchase these pretties!

Dave's cousin has toooons of bamboo. We were cutting them down with the chainsaw after the last big snow storm. I could ask him that when he's digging it up if he wants to keep a few shoots that i can pass on to you. However, remember if you plant them, sink them in a pot or something to keep the runners from going over because they'll quickly take over.
I've got some daffodils you can have when you come to visit too!
Oh yeah,I've heard of their invasive nature. I planned to actually keep them in a pot above ground because I don't even want to worry about them jumping a sunk pot like the mint constantly does. I would love some shoots! I got some from a very dear reader earlier this year, but would accept more. Does Dave's cousin have the shoots that are as thick as his hand? That's sort of the type that I'm really looking for because that really makes for a good stirfry. The small ones work too, but if I can get more eatin' per shoot that'd be nice.
